Capital Campaigns Intern, January 2020

The National Western Center represents a visionary transformation of the National Western Complex into a year-round destination to expand and enhance this regional asset into a world-class hub for agriculture, education, and innovation. The $100 million Honoring the Legacy campaign will provide support for the buildings and outdoor spaces needed to help this landmark of the West reach its full potential.

In this position, I worked alongside the Campaign Staff to assist with events and perform tasks such as:

• Proofread campaign materials for distribution and publication.

• Produced new and creative posts for various social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

• Operate campaign booth in Livestock Center/Equestrian Center, providing information on the campaign and various mini-campaigns.

• Made small transactions on the spot and cold sales including the sale of bricks and brand sponsorships.

• Advocated for the campaign to attendees of the Stock Show.
